Commissioned Portraits
Portraits are not photographs but an entity unto themselves, preserving the subject through the artist's eyes for future generations.Photographs - Professional photographs may be used (permission form the photographer is required). Choose several photographs to allow you and I to determine which are the most advantageous. I can photograph the subject at your home for an additional fee. I would like to see the subject if possible to check on coloring and details. Photographs will be returned. Portraits usually take about three weeks to complete. Prices 12" X 17" - head and shoulders - $600 17" X 22" - half figure - $700 17" X 22" - full length - $700 17" X 24" - two figures - $1000 Matting is included. Framing is not. Shipping fees depend on distance. Payment in full upon completion. If you are not happy with the portrait there is no charge, but the artist retains the portrait. |
